The king is an afterthought. This prince heads to the hospital to visit his wife!

Crown Princess Kate Middleton underwent abdominal surgery on Tuesday and is reportedly recovering well. The Palace has not revealed the cause of the surgery, but has confirmed that it was not cancer.

She is expected to remain in the hospital for 10 to 14 days until she returns home to continue her recovery. Kate will have no official duties until after Easter.

Her husband, Prince William, has apparently postponed all official functions and two upcoming trips abroad to support his wife's recovery.7]

According to The Telegraph, "Prince William will be at home in Windsor while she recovers, balancing daytime visits with caring for their three children and plans to "spend as much time as possible with the princess"

while balancing the two.

He was photographed this morning driving to and from the hospital to visit his wife. Kate is currently in the London Clinic, which is certainly a hospital fit for royalty. I for one am amazed that royalty drives a car!

If William can stop all the royal proceedings (the King himself is in hospital) to be near his wife, it means the man can definitely text you back!
