Read MoreTia Mowry is on vacation and thanks to the amazing photos she is sharing, I feel like I am there with her.
On Thursday, January 18, the 45-year-old posted a carousel on Instagram from her recent trip to Thailand. Food, water, and family memories: ...... All of the images were great, but one aspect in particular caught our attention: Mowry's latest hairstyle. in the first photo, her super-long micro braids literally graze her thighs as she poses on a sandy beach. in the second slide, the Disney native repeatedly looks in the mirror and Posing, running her hands through her hair underwater, and jumping off a boat, she shows off every inch of her intricate hairstyle.
The actress's braids are the work of her regular hairstylist, the genius behind many of her iconic looks over the years, Marquita Lynch.
"Fulani braids are the latest trend, so I wanted to add my own personal touch by blending a custom blonde and extending the braid to thigh-length," this professional told Marie Claire. 'Who doesn't love a statement braid?'
One of the beautiful things about the protective hairstyle is that it stayed perfectly in place for all your vacation adventures - from fancy dinners to ocean excursions.
Along with the lovely photos, Mowry writes a sweet message about how much the trip meant to her and how she wants to continue practicing some of the same self-care at home.
"Sometimes I find myself caught up in the whirlwind of life. Especially when I am juggling responsibilities and caring for my children. The constant pursuit of life's indicators of success has definitely affected me and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to pause during my stay in Thailand. I was able to reflect on myself, connect with nature, embrace a new culture, and spend time with my family," she writes. [This trip has been a healing journey, allowing me to realign my priorities and delve into my underlying purpose. This trip became a healing journey that allowed me to realign my priorities and delve into my underlying purpose. The good fortune of being able to do this kind of soul-searching in the beauty of Thailand is a treasure I will cherish.
While Mowry hopes to incorporate these practices into her own life, it is important to note that as the owner of curly hair brand 4U By Tia, she is helping many people with their wellbeing goals. Here's to self-care. And to Tia. And to great hair in general.
