Emma Watson Instagrams epic tale of saving a mouse from a cat and dog.

If you know anything at all about Emma Watson, you won't be surprised to learn that she's a pretty brave person.

In fact, the "Little Women" actress shared a little-known fact about herself regarding rats, telling a rather haphazard and also endearing story of redemption on Instagram.

"Little known fact - we've had cats since I was a little girl and "saving mice" has always been my job in the family," Watson captioned a photo of a small frightened mouse in her hands.

"We named him Jerry. It was quite a near miss because both the cat and the dog had him cornered under the table. I hope he never again puts his health at risk for a chocolate digestive cookie. It's not worth it, Jerry! I might not be there: !!!!!!" .

As expected, many commenters pointed out the similarities with Harry Potter. 'Wait, is that Peter Pettigrew?

"It's like Hermione helping the goblins," said another.

Someone else asked an important question. The most important question was, "Did Jerry get the chocolate digestive cookies?"

Watson is known for keeping a fairly quiet profile on social media, but sometimes he surprises us with sudden super-detailed posts like this one.

Aside from promoting the gin brand Rene, which he co-founded with his brother Alex, the last time Watson gave us such a candid glimpse into his life was when he turned 33.

"I was really sad and angry about a lot of things. I learned more about love, about being a woman, and it took me three years, but I finally figured out the daily practice and could actually keep it up for more than a few days in a row," she wrote at the time, along with other beautiful words.

Hopefully we will get more of these delightful and unexpected insights in the near future.
