Princess Charlotte Was Princess Kate's "Mini Me" at Wimbledon, Body Language Expert Says

Princess Charlotte has recently been making more appearances at official functions in Wales, allowing us to see more of her gentle nature and confidence, albeit from afar.

We also get a glimpse of the adorable bond between Princess Charlotte and her mother, Princess Kate.

For body language expert Judy James, the dynamic between Charlotte and Kate was especially evident at Wimbledon a few weeks ago.

"Seeing Kate go to Wimbledon with Charlotte gave me a glimpse of how she is actively mentoring her daughter for royal life. Their mother-daughter relationship is maturing into a lovely friendship, similar to the relationship between William and his son George," James said OK! 7]

"And the fact that both Charlotte and Kate acted more like fans than royalty during the match, especially Charlotte's support for Alcaraz to win. It was very nice."

"The team was very good.

James added, "The bond between Kate and Charlotte appears from the natural and often subliminal mirroring.

To illustrate her point, the expert said, "When the tension of the match became too much for Charlotte, she used the 'cut-off' ritual of placing both hands over her face. She appeared to be imitating her mother. And she was an elegant mini-me of Kate as she sat with stylish shades on while watching the match."

For James, Charlotte's personality shone through on this day, as did a certain freedom that shunned the burden of royal existence, both as a young child and as a royal who would likely never become monarch.

"Charlotte also seems to have inherited Kate's confidence, her competitive spirit, and her tendency to lead," says the expert.

"She now has the freedom to act spontaneously in public, throwing her arms up in the air and seeming to 'roar' as she celebrated her alcalas victory."

And if Wimbledon had applied the rules more strictly, George and Charlotte might have missed this moment altogether.
