Margot Robbie's friends are furious that she couldn't kiss Ryan Gosling in "Barbie.

You would be disappointed if you went out on a date and your friends were so eager to get down to the nitty-gritty that they didn't kiss you.

In Barbie's movie, Robbie (Barbie) and Ryan Gosling (Ken) are, as Ken so eloquently puts it, "boyfriend-girlfriends," but they have no parts and therefore no romance or PDA.

Thus, in one scene, Ken brings his face close to Barbie's and she stands perfectly still and smiles.

In a recent interview with People, when asked if she was glad she didn't kiss Gosling, Robbie said, "Nah! That didn't feel like a victory to me." [All my girlfriends were like, 'You did one movie with him and you didn't kiss him? What's wrong with you? (Robbie was the producer of Barbie and worked closely with director Greta Gerwig on creative decisions.)

Robbie concluded that her interactions with these disappointed friends "were like, 'I know, I can't check one thing off [the list].'"

He concluded.

Although Robbie did not get to kiss Gosling, his co-stars enjoyed filming the blockbuster and bonding.

For example, Gosling talked about a cute tradition Robbie started on the set.

"Margot had a pink day once a week where everyone had to wear something pink. If you didn't, she would fine you. She would go around collecting the fines and donating them to charity."

When I first heard this story, I loved it!

The movie "Barbie" is in theaters now.
