Prince Charles "nervous" and "uncomfortable" without Queen Camilla by his side.

Long before she became Camilla Parker-Bowles (or Camilla Shand before that) from Queen Camilla, Camilla was a rock-solid supporter of her husband, King Charles. Always shy and reserved, the King is especially nervous when his wife is not around, OK reported.

"King Charles' key gestures are made first when he is unsure, a little unsure, or looking for Camilla," said body language expert Darren Stanton, speaking for Betfair. 'He tends to get a little stressed when Camilla isn't in his line of sight. Fiddling with cufflinks or shirt or jacket cuffs is a bit of a key indicator."

"Camilla's eyes are always on you," he added, "and she's always on you.

Stanton said that Prince Charles' body movements are similar to those of his mother Queen Elizabeth and son Prince William. He said, "Charles tends to reach for his nose when he's trying to get away from a conversation, just as the Queen used to hold her handbag in her left hand and when she switched to her right hand, she would signal to her assistants, 'Get me out of here.'"

Stanton also said that the King used to put his hand inside his jacket when he was younger, something that William is now emulating. According to the Daily Express, Prince Charles has become more confident over the years and the "pacifier" gestures are less common. These gestures include "brushing imaginary dust off his jacket" when he feels "nervous" or "anxious."

"King Charles has evolved a little bit over the years," says Stanton. 'Especially since becoming king, he has become more confident in himself, so these gestures are less common.' And even more so when Camilla is around, Stanton said, because she gives the king "a lot of strength."
