Meghan Markle will focus on showbiz activities, and Prince Harry is likely to lean more toward humanitarian work in the future, sources said.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, like many of us, are at a turning point in their lives and careers; their $20 million deal with Spotify (which lasted less than three years and ended last month with only one piece of content, Meghan's "Archetypes") just ended. apparently preparing to make a big move and tell their side of the story.

"They were basically fired by Spotify, which is embarrassing, but Harry and Meghan are now fighting back by telling their side," a source told OK. 'Yes, they made a mistake, but they have big plans for their next effort.'

As ever, the couple has plenty of sparks in the fire: an ongoing deal with Netflix, which produced the hit "Harry & Meghan" late last year and will produce "Harry's Heart of Invictus" next month; other rumored projects; Harry's memoir earlier this year, " Spare"; an ongoing deal with Penguin Random House, which has successfully produced Spare; Meghan's signing with the powerful talent agency William Morris Endeavor (WME) and the deals it would generate; and many other rumored deals, projects, and undertakings. Perhaps the most lucrative, at least for now, is the deal with Netflix, which, like Spotify, is signed in 2020.

"Netflix is delighted to have signed Harry and Meghan and is looking for great ideas for the future," said one source. 'But the rest of the deal depends on them coming up with good ideas. The contract is under continuous review, but that is normal for something of this size."

In addition to the upcoming "Heart of Invictus," there are other content proposals, including a show inspired by "Great Expectations" and an African documentary that Harry will direct.

While there is always room for a course correction, according to Hollywood insiders, Harry and Meghan's reputations have taken a hit. One insider said, "Practically everyone in Hollywood is talking about how Harry and Meghan's empire is crumbling."

OK magazine reports that Harry and Meghan are eager to pick up the pieces of their reputation and move on as they move forward.

The Daily Express reported that as they move forward professionally, Meghan is more interested in showbiz and celebrity, while Harry is more interested in philanthropy and humanitarian work. Journalist Alison Boshoff asks, "When will Harry turn his back on a life in show business that he is clearly not suited for and doesn't seem to fit in at all?"

Boshoff said of the couple, "She is racing toward a bigger, more lucrative media business, while her husband's interests are focused on the environment and mental health."

It will no doubt be interesting to see what the couple does next, both individually and collectively.
