Prince William wants to "show a close bond" with his oldest son, Prince George, "a handful of parents."

Prince William and Prince George were spotted enjoying a game of cricket this weekend. The close bond between the two was on full display during a day of parent-child intimacy.

According to the Mirror, George, who turns 10 at the end of this month, showed maturity and composure on the day out.

"George looks older than his age," says body language expert Inbaal Honigmann. 'I don't see any signs of fidgeting. He sits patiently, watching and chatting." She added that George's reactions to his surroundings indicate that he is "fully engaged in his surroundings."

Another body language expert, Adrian Carter, said that George's facial expressions in public suggested that he was self-conscious in the past, but his confidence has grown.

"William is a hands-on parent and seems willing to take one-on-one time with his oldest son," Carter said. 'He wants to show them an intimate bond.'

She continued. 'In this clip, we see a boy who has grown in confidence and is calm under scrutiny.' In clips from previous events, George often seemed self-conscious, but in this clip we don't see that at all."

In England's match against rival Australia, the two sat in the royal box; not only did the two physically resemble each other, but the Mirror reported that "George again looked 'like a mirror' imitating his father's gestures."
