Taylor Swift encounters stage malfunction while on tour, laughs it off

Taylor Swift's "Eras" tour was a huge success, but even great artists have unplanned moments, and according to People, Swift poked fun at herself after a stage debacle in Cincinnati. (1]

During the first of two shows in Cincinnati on Friday night, Swift "faced a stage fiasco," People reports. After the Reputation-era section of the three-hour concert, Swift typically takes the floor for a costume change. But at Friday's show, the trap door she was supposed to exit during the changeover did not seem to be working."

A fan videotaped the incident, and when Swift realized the trapdoor was malfunctioning, she quickly (quickly?) left the stage. Swift then ran past the back-up dancers exiting the stage through a side door.

But Swift was undeterred, and even poked fun at himself by commenting in the comments section of another video of the moment, set to AWOLNATION's "Run," that "Still swift af boi."

Trapdoors aside, Swift seemed to enjoy her time in Cincinnati, writing on Twitter on Sunday, "Cincinnati, I love you more than ever. Had the best two nights with you!"

Swift said of her second show in Cincinnati, "With Gracie Abrams, tour opener for Eras, and Aaron Dessner of The National, who collaborated on Swift's albums Folklore and Evermore. The surprise performance made it special," People reports.

"Last night was so special to be able to sing 'I miss you, I'm sorry' with @gracieabrams in an acoustic set and call up @aaron_dessner in his hometown to perform 'Ivy,'" Swift wrote. Swift wrote. See you again, Kansas City."

Stage malfunction or not, the show must go on.
