Kate Middleton at Wimbledon in a mint green blazer inspired by Princess Diana

Kate Middleton wore a Wimbledon look reminiscent of the late Princess Diana. Princess Kate attended the tennis match in support of Briton Katie Boulter.

She made a surprise visit to this year's championships and wore a mint green Balmain blazer. It featured stark white lapels, a double-breasted design, flat white buttons, decorative pockets, and white cuff detailing, paying homage to Princess Diana in a chic 90s style.

Arriving at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, Kate was seated on court 18. Shortly thereafter, she changed locations due to the rainy weather. To protect herself from the wind and rain, she used a green and purple umbrella that matched her outfit.

Kate often chooses to honor her late mother-in-law in a subtle way, as in her Wimbledon fashion this year. She rarely speaks publicly about Princess Diana. This year, however, she made a heartwarming remark while chatting outside Dowlais Rugby Club in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, on April 27.

"It's the same ring I tried on, the exact same size," Kate said of the sapphire engagement ring that once belonged to Diana. It's very special. I'm honored to wear it. Sadly, I never got to meet her.

"She would be amazing," she continued, referring to what it would be like to be a grandmother to the former crown princess. 'We miss her every day.'
