'What you can tell from her photos today is that she has a wonderful sense of playfulness, happiness, and humor. In one shot, she is joking around, pulling a face and trying to show normalcy in her gesture. She doesn't want to be seen as being far removed from normal people or society. While admitting that she is a senior member of the royal family, Kate does not want to be seen as laughing or joking"

When Kate walks, she is obviously very graceful and calm, but her posture, shoulder position, and pace also indicate great confidence. If she were less confident, she would be walking at a slower pace and looking around for others to take the lead. But Kate could not be more opposite. She is very independent and clearly not afraid to take on any task without her husband, Prince William. She is very confident now. She has that inner source of strength that Princess Diana used to have."
