Don't believe the rumors: apparently Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's marriage is going well.

Don't believe the hype - despite the constant divorce rumors, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's marriage is going well.

Despite the constant marriage rumors, the couple continues to build a life with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, in Montecito, California, and are "happy together," OK reports. Family friend Carl Larsen said of the Sussexes, "Don't believe the media. They (Harry and Meghan) love each other very much and are happy together. There is nothing but smiles and laughter here."

This is in response to reports from people like British noblewoman Lady Colin Campbell, who previously told OK, "I have heard from five totally reliable sources that Harry called a lawyer some months ago," presumably referring to a divorce attorney. The problem is that that information doesn't necessarily match their public face." But, of course, their public face is one that has been slapped down, to some extent, for financial gain."

Royal family expert Angela Levin, who is generally quite vehement in her criticism of the Sussexes, says, "I think if there's any marital wrangling, perhaps they might go to another room. If you book [a room] permanently, it means you use that room a lot. So he's not in the family home anymore," she said, referring to a report that was subsequently refuted that Harry had rented a suite at the San Vicente Bungalows in West Hollywood. (The claim was so outlandish that Harry's agent also spoke out on the matter and refuted it.)

Meghan's half-sister Samantha Markle also added fuel to the discussion of the divorce rumors, saying, "I see this ending in divorce unless they can agree to undergo extensive counseling and work on being honest.

Handling the press has always been rough for the Sussexes, but especially so in recent months. Despite this, sources close to the couple claim that they are "unfazed by critics" and that "people can call them money hungry and even 'con artists,' but Harry and Meghan think it's all just jealous[y] and mean people throwing stones."[11

The pair seem content with their new life in the U.S., where they moved in 2020 after leaving the infamous line of royal society members in January, and the Mirror reports that Harry has sent two clear messages that cannot be ignored: he has cut ties with his longtime friend He missed both the wedding of Jack Mann (whom Harry called the true best man at his 2018 wedding, even though his brother Prince William has long been regarded as such) and the Diana Award ceremony. Harry has attended several events in the UK since early 2020 (including King Charles' coronation and Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee), but the number of times he has been absent far outweighs the number of times he has attended, and his life and priorities have become more important than his children in California with Princess Meghan and Meghan and their children in California.

"Harry's absence from the best man's [wedding], as well as William and Harry's failure to attend the Diana Awards ceremony together, symbolizes his disconnection from his life in England," royal correspondent Matt Wilkinson told "True Royalty TV 's "The Royal Beat". Referring to Frogmore Cottage, where the Sussexes were recently evicted, Wilkinson continued, " They have nowhere to live." So where they are is the Premier Inn, which is "just around the corner." They don't have a base in the UK and they are concerned about security."

This week, Harry was spotted with his new two-year-old, Lilibet, at a Fourth of July parade where vintage cars decorated with American flags passed through the streets. Harry and Lili were the only ones pictured, but Megan and Archie were also in attendance. The next day, Harry's father, King Charles, attended his second coronation in Scotland with Queen Camilla and the Prince and Princess of Wales. At this coronation, Harry chose to skip it and remain in his new home in the United States while it took place in Edinburgh.
