Ryan Gosling reveals that Margot Robbie made the entire cast and crew of "Barbie" wear pink once a week, and if they didn't, they were fined.

During the filming of the movie "Barbie," Margot Robbie upped the "wear pink on Wednesdays" rule 17 notches.

Like Regina George in real life, Robbie made sure that the entire cast and crew enforced the pink dress code once a week on the set.

"Margot had a pink day once a week and everyone had to wear something pink. If you didn't, you were fined."

"She would go around collecting fines and donating them to charity.

This is amazing. I'm so glad she did this. Anyway, on to the next.

"What was really special was how excited the male crew was. At the end of the film, they all got together and made their own pink crew shirts with rainbow fringe," Gosling continued.

"It was an opportunity to show our respect and admiration for what Margot and [director] Greta [Gerwig] had created.

"At the end of 'Dead Poets Society,' everyone got on their desks and said, 'Captain! My captain!' '"

[16] At this point, it is safe to say that Barbie is not just a movie, but a true phenomenon that has influenced almost every aspect of our culture today.

The film opens July 21, but in the meantime, I'm hanging on to every scrap of news about it.

The latest surprise is the revelation that the movie almost contained a joke about Margot Robbie and Emma McKee looking super similar, and that the latest release consists of a crazy, wonderful song about Ken performed by Gosling herself. Dream!
