Zayn Malik appeared on the hit podcast Call Her Daddy, hosted by Alex Cooper, for his first in-depth interview in six years.

During the hour-long interview, he opened up about growing up in northern England, becoming famous as part of One Direction, his solo career, living in Pennsylvania, his experiences with anxiety, and of course, his relationship with his 2-year-old daughter Kai, who he shares with ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid He opened up about his relationship with his ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid and their two-year-old daughter, Kai.

"The crazy thing is that obviously 50 percent of the time I'm with her. So when I'm with her, I don't really work at all," Malik said of his time with Kai. [He paints, plays make-believe, does this and that, goes to the park, goes to the theme park, goes to the zoo. [He described how his daughter had changed him.

"We just have fun," he said. When you grow up, everything becomes vague, gray, and boring."

It makes you cry.

A little later, the proud father spoke a little about his little one's personality and how she feels like him.

"I think she's funny. Yeah, she likes to joke around a little bit, and she laughs a lot. 'But she also loves to read. But she also loves to read. She has an affinity for words, and she remembers everything.'

Of course, he also mentions his co-parenting experience with Hadid, which he says has been smooth, at least on his part.

"Co-parenting is good," he said. We have a really good relationship for Kai. She's the most important thing. So, it's going well."

After thinking about it for a few seconds, he added: "I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to do it again.
