Multiple media outlets are reporting that Lindsay Lohan has given birth to her first child, a boy named Luai, with husband Bader Shammas.

According to People, Luai is an Arabic name meaning "shield" or "protector" and was born in Dubai, where Lohan and Shammas live, although the exact date of birth has not been revealed at this time.

"Lindsay Lohan and her financier husband, Bader Shammas, have welcomed a beautiful, healthy son named Luai," Lohan's representative told People. The family is overjoyed."

Lohan announced her pregnancy in March and opened up about balancing life as an actress and a mother in a June interview with Allure: "I can't wait to see what it feels like, what it's like to be a mom. Happy tears. That's who I am. I guess I'm feeling like a baby right now. It's overwhelming in a good way." Lohan talked to Jamie Lee Curtis recently, and she said, 'Just bring the baby in and everything will be fine,'" Lohan said of her work/life balance.

"Lindsay has always loved kids, and my mom and I love kids. We have a big family, so she's always wanted kids. And she's very maternal. My niece Isabelle runs up to her when she sees her."

The timing is perfect, Dina added. 'Bader is an angel. Her husband is so sweet and they are so happy. They are really happy and ready to go."
