It's been a year since Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck had a surprise wedding in Las Vegas.

Yesterday, the day after their wedding anniversary at Little White Chapel, Lopez wrote on Instagram, "1 year since our Midnight Trip To Vegas.... .go to On The JLo for a special surprise.... #ThisIsMeNow," she wrote, and announced the new song with two snaps of her wearing the rhinestone-embellished white mini dress she wore to an anniversary dinner with her husband at Santa Monica's Giorgio Baldi restaurant on Sunday.

Later, in her newsletter "On the JLo," Lopez published the lyrics to a new song and a video of her singing it. Some of the song's lyrics include, "Then you whispered in my ear / Said let's get out of here / We can disappear tonight / How about a midnight trip to Vegas / Just me and you, baby / In the back of a pink Cadillac / Throw the kids in the back / And get changed in the bathroom / And we can go to Vegas. Midnight trip to Vegas / Our hearts are racing / We'll pick you up late / No need to wait / Yeah, let's do something crazy," are lyrics that are almost identical to what happened in real life on July 16, 2022.

According to People, this new song is a follow-up to 2002's "This is Me. This is Me...Now," Lopez's next album following 2002's This is Me.... .Now," the first glimpse of which was also inspired by Affleck.

This time last year, on July 17, 2022, Lopez revealed that she and Affleck had finally tied the knot after 20 years of waiting: "We did it," she wrote to fans in a newsletter. Love is beautiful. 'We read our vows in a small chapel and gave each other rings that we would wear for the rest of our lives. We even had a bluetooth for the (short) procession down the aisle.
