Daniel Radcliffe and partner Erin Dark welcomed their first child, a boy, in April 2023.

Since then, life as a family of three has been nothing short of idyllic, albeit tumultuous.

Speaking to Extra recently about her son, the Miracle Workers star said, "My son is very sweet. We've gone through a phase where he doesn't scream as much, and now he's giving little smiles and giggles."

Further describing the reality of having a newborn at home, Radcliffe said, "It's been a crazy few months, as anyone who has been through parenting can attest. But it's also been great because it's literally the best thing that's ever happened to me. I feel so lucky to be with him this way. It's the best."

It makes me cry.

This is not the first time Radcliffe has spoken about how much he loves being a new dad.

"He's the best. It's crazy and intense, but he's great and Erin is great.

"I was always going to take a break, but that's not something everybody can do. So we're having a great time."

Radcliffe and Dirk (Radcliffe's Radar????) met on the set of the 2013 film Kill Your Darlings, and the Harry Potter star said of a scene from that film, "It's a great record of our first flirting. There was no acting involved. [There's a moment where she makes me laugh, but I'm laughing as me, not as the character. She was incredibly funny and smart. I thought I was in trouble."
