Guaranteed Kim Kardashian doesn't hear this stuff every day from SKIMS customers: according to People, a fan claimed that the shapewear company's bodysuit shot (!) She claimed it saved her life. Kardashian was stunned by the fan's story and responded personally.

Angelina Wiley, aka Nina, was shot four times on New Year's Eve and shared a video on TikTok, where she revealed she was wearing a SKIMS bodysuit.

"Kim Kardashian saved my life," Wiley said. 'This past New Year's I was shot four times. The night I was shot, I was wearing a SKIMS shaping bodysuit under my dress. It was so tight, it literally kept me from bleeding out. I would recommend it. I will definitely be buying more. I would wear it every day. It's like a protective suit for women."

In a follow-up video released three months after the shooting, Wiley says the bullet remains in her stomach. She said, "Taking the bullet out is riskier than leaving it in place."

Wiley added that the day she was shot was her "first day" in the bodysuit, but not to worry - "they gave me a discount and gave me a refund."

Kardashian reposted the video on her Instagram story, commenting "wowww" along with a praying hand emoji.

"It was definitely really exciting for me," Wiley said.

"I've been a fan for a while, so to know that she knows who I am is really exciting."

And apparently, Wiley and Kardashian's similarities go beyond their love of SKIMS. She says, "I remember reading about Kim when I was a kid, and I was like, 'Oh, my God.' It was like a childhood dream come true."
