[Prince Harry flew to England for his father King Charles' coronation last month despite ongoing family rifts. Harry arrived in his native country on Friday, and shortly after the King's ceremony at Westminster Abbey at 11 a.m., he was on his way home to California and his son Prince Archie's fourth birthday (just in time to put the Prince to bed, which caused extended jet lag and the (It was the longest day of Harry's life, but he had fulfilled his duty to both father and son.)

By leaving the UK so early, Harry was unable to attend the post-ceremony reception at Buckingham Palace and was unable to fully meet his father, his brother Prince William, and other members of the royal family. Royal family expert Richard Kay, in his Channel 5 documentary "Harry & Meghan: Is America Turning Against Them" (by The Sun), said that Harry's quick exit Harry's quick exit was "unwise. Prince Charles reportedly wanted Harry to stay after the ceremony.

"My understanding is that he [Harry] did not interact with the crown prince or princess, but he did have a conversation with his father the night before," Nick Bullen, editor in chief of True Royalty TV, told Us Weekly. 'Until the morning, no one knew what Harry's plans were for that afternoon. I think everyone knew he had to catch a plane. But I think he also wanted to return to the palace and join the family celebration. So I think there was some sadness that he couldn't join us for a full day, but everyone knew he had to catch a plane."
