Prince Harry and Meghan Markle run into trouble on their honeymoon.

After his royal wedding to Meghan Markle on May 19, 2018, Prince Harry wrote in Spare that the newlyweds spent 10 days in the Mediterranean on their honeymoon: "Our honeymoon was a closely guarded secret." We left London in a car disguised as a mover's van, with the windows covered with cardboard, and went to the Mediterranean for 10 days. It was great to get away from the sea and into the sun."

Sounds like paradise, but it wasn't: but we were also sick. Harry writes in his book, "But we were sick, too.

As you may remember, there was much drama surrounding Meghan's father, Thomas Markle. He was originally scheduled to fly to England to walk his daughter down the aisle, but he ended up canceling and Meghan walked herself halfway down the aisle, then was joined by her new father-in-law, then-Prince Charles.

According to another passage in Spare, Harry suggests how Meghan treated their illnesses (depending on the nature of the illness) - citing the time Prince William and Kate Middleton visited him and Meghan when William was sick and "Willie had a cold. He was sneezing and coughing, and Meg ran upstairs and brought him homeopathic remedies. Oregano oil and turmeric. He seemed fascinated and impressed, but Kate declared to the table that she would never take such unconventional cures.

According to Hello magazine, "Meghan is known to be a fan of alternative medicine to treat her ailments, and even mentioned in an old interview that she used herbal medicine to treat migraines that landed her in the hospital."

"I have believed in acupuncture for many years," Megan told The Chalkboard. "Acupuncture and Eastern medicine have absolutely changed my life. Life without migraines is a game changer."

According to Hello, Meghan reportedly had regular acupuncture sessions before giving birth to her son Prince Archie in May 2019. She also relies on supplements to keep her healthy, telling The Chalkboard that she "mixes in magnesium, B-12 drops, multivitamins, and sometimes ashwagandha." In addition, the Duchess of Sussex keeps "tea tree oil, Neurofen, bandages, yoga balm, and Honest's Organic Healing Balm" in stock at all times, adding of the latter, "That stuff is great."
