Princess Kate, "Princess of Throw," Fans Notice Remarkable Similarities in Recent Royal Engagements

Members of the Royal Family are constantly given new nicknames in the press.

Princess Kate's new nickname, however, is more ironic than offensive.

According to a new analysis in the Mail on Sunday, ardent royal fans may have noticed that since receiving her new title in September, nearly a third of Princess Kate's royal engagements have taken place near her new family home in Windsor, either in the town itself or in nearby Slough and elsewhere.

So much so that one royal fan joked to the Mail, "Maybe Kate should be renamed Princess Slough!" he joked.

Meanwhile, another source noted, "It has been noted that there are so many jobs near Kate and William's home. However, they have always said that their children come first, so it is only natural that one of them would want to be there for the school run."

The source added, "It's not surprising that the children are so busy.

For example, Princess Kate recently visited Maidenhead Rugby Club, which is only a 15-minute drive from her home and 15 minutes from Lambrook School, where her children are enrolled.

The Welsh family held a coronation Big Help Out activity at the 3rd Upton Scout Group in Slough in May. In addition, Kate visited the Oxford House nursing home in Slough in February, and she and William visited the Windsor Food Share food bank in January, among other activities close to home.

In other words, who can blame them for wanting to reduce their commute?
