Princess Kate likely to wear either green or blue at this weekend's "Trooping the Colour," experts claim

Trooping the Colour - aka the "King's Birthday Parade" - will be quite different this year.

Last year it coincided with the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, but this year it will be headed by King Charles and Queen Camilla, with the new Prince and Princess of Wales (William and Catherine) and the new Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh (Edward and Princess Sophie) will join them for the first time.

Royal watchers will probably be particularly anticipating one aspect of the day in particular: what outfit Princess Kate will choose.

"The Princess of Wales is used to attending 'Trooping the Colors,' but this year will be especially important and special," historian and royal commentator Mok O'Keefe (known on social media as @gayaristo) told the Express He told us. It is the first ceremony that her father-in-law is the king and she will attend as a colonel in the Irish Guards."

[8 [In the past, her husband, Prince William, attended in military uniform.

"The Princess of Wales is unlikely to wear a military uniform.

O'Keefe mentioned a recent Irish Guard-related engagement when Kate attended the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Aldershot, England, in a blue-green ensemble.

"She has previously worn green when visiting the Guard and this may be an appropriate choice," the expert hypothesized.

"She has also preferred blue a lot lately, however, in this heat, she may opt for brighter colors."

Meanwhile, Princess has leaned heavily on the Barbicore trend in recent months, but O'Keefe warns us not to hold our breath for another one of her candy pink moments this Saturday.

"I don't want to take the spotlight away from my husband and mother-in-law, Queen Camilla, so it certainly won't be in pop colors like yellow or pink," O'Keefe insists.

Fair point made, now we wait. My apologies.
