Andy Cohen Defends Meghan Markle, Says Rumors That She Didn't Interview "Archetypes" Guests Are "Insane"

Andy Cohen, who was a guest on Meghan Markle's 12-episode podcast "Archetypes," has defended her against rumors that Meghan did not actually interview the guest herself, but instead pushed the job to one of her staff members, who came in later and recorded a voiceover to make it seem as if she was there. He defends her by refuting rumors that she did not actually interview the guest herself, but instead pushed the job to one of her staff members, who came in later and recorded the narration to make it look as if she had been there. (Of course, I did talk to Megan, and she definitely interviewed me. ) "That is an insane rumor. Her podcast is a conversation with people. How could she not?' Of course she did."

In addition to Cohen, Meghan welcomed such celebrities as Mariah Carey, Mindy Kaling, and Serena Williams, a longtime friend of the Duchess. Cohen described Princess Meghan as "quite well-researched," "well-informed," and "thoughtful."

During their conversation, it was revealed that in the early 2010s, Princess Meghan was a potential guest on Cohen's show Watch What Happens Live, but the show passed on it. (Not surprisingly, an invitation is still very much possible if Princess Meghan wants to be on the show.)

Spotify ended its partnership with Meghan and her husband Prince Harry earlier this month. The original deal was reportedly worth $20 million.
