Why did Prince William and Kate Middleton decline Brooklyn Beckham's invitation to their wedding?

The wedding of Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz, which took place exactly one year ago, was attended by many celebrities, including the groom's parents, David and Victoria Beckham, and according to the Mirror, the Prince and Princess of Wales were Florida were invited to the party, but declined, despite having attended William and Kate's wedding in 2011. (Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were not invited, the Mirror reports, even though the Beckhams also attended their 2018 wedding.)

"The Beckhams reportedly agonized over which royal couple to choose because of the alleged rift between William and Harry. In the end, they chose William and Kate because of their long history of friendship."

But William and Kate's answer was no. David and Victoria wrote to William and Kate, inviting them to their son's wedding. The reason, they said, was the security of their sources.

"David's attachment and history goes back to William and Kate."

"They were always about them because they were the people David and Victoria were attached to and had a long history together.

The wedding certainly did not lack celebrity guests. Mel B and Emma Bunton of the Spice Girls, Serena Williams, Eva Longoria, Gigi Hadid, Nicole Richie, and Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen, who were still dating at the time, were also present.
