Katie Holmes opens up about her relationship with daughter Suri Cruz: "She's incredible."

Katie Holmes has a 16-year-old daughter, Suri, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.

The teenager has been spotted in public several times and has also been photographed by paparazzi while out with her mother, but Holmes tries to keep her daughter out of the spotlight as much as possible.

Holmes, the "Dawson's Creek" actress, opened up about her sweet relationship with her daughter in a new interview with Glamour magazine, which was conducted to celebrate the April 14 release of her film "Rare Items." This is the third film Holmes has directed.

"What's really important about my relationship with my daughter is that I really like to protect her because she was so prominent when she was little," Holmes explained.

"I'm so grateful to be a parent, to be her parent. She is a wonderful person."

Starr was also asked about her collaboration with Suri, who sang "Blue Moon" on the soundtrack of Holmes' 2022 film Alone Together. The girl also sang on the soundtrack of Rare Objects.

"I always hope she does something in my films. I'm always asking her," Holmes said. [But both experiences came from the same sense of love I have for the industry.
