Bella Hadid Cheers Ariana Grande After Body Shock: "It's Much Cooler to Be Kind"

This week, Ariana Grande responded to the terrible comments she received about her body, telling fans on TikTok that her "healthy body looks different."

She also opened up about why her body has changed, saying that what outsiders see as a "healthy" body is actually what she looked like when she was "taking a lot of antidepressants, drinking on top of that, and eating poorly."

Bella Hadid reposted Grande's video on Instagram, writing a heartfelt caption in support of the singer.

"You never know what someone is going through mentally or physically. Illness or depression. Grief and heartache," Hadid told his followers.

"You never know and you never know until you walk in that person's shoes for a day. Don't give unsolicited advice, opinions, judgments, or attacks, just offer a helping hand and be kind." [There is always a reason why people look and feel the way they do.

The supermodel also shared advice about being as kind as possible.

"Instagram is not real and we need to look deeper and consciously remember that each of us is just a human being doing our best," she said. [So next time someone writes a mean article to make fun of you, or a "like!" or write a mean comment to get a "like," remember that.

"If someone wants to say something bad about someone else, remove yourself from the conversation. It's much cooler to be nice. I love you all. And I love you Ali. This is so important and I am so proud of you. It helps a lot of people. Thank you."

Grande was incredibly touched by this message of support and commented, "I love you and your big heart!!!!" He commented.

Hadid herself has been very open about her mental health difficulties over the years. Last year, in an interview with WSJ magazine, she opened up about her experiences with depression and anxiety, explaining that she "just had unbearable, debilitating mental and physical pain, and I didn't know why."

In a recent interview with the New York Times, she said, "I was just in a lot of pain."

She also said that things can be ever-changing for her.

"Today is a good day. The fog is clearing and I don't feel depressed. I'm not as anxious as I usually am," she said.

"But tomorrow, I could wake up and it could be quite the opposite. That's why I feel so heavy."

I am so grateful for celebrities like these two women who spread a much-needed message.
