Princess Kate Gives "Unique" "Gift" to Her Children, Body Language Expert Says

Princess Kate is known for her wonderful rapport with children, whether they are her own or children she meets at royal functions.

According to one body language expert, Princess Kate proved this once again in November 2022 at a ceremony held at the Colham Manor Children's Center.

That day, the princess met a 3-year-old boy called Akeem and was photographed having the sweetest conversation with him, which included giving him a pin of her Remembrance poppies because he did not have any of his own.

"Now we all know that listening is very important and that you have to look into the eyes of the person you are talking to.

"Catherine is doing the very same thing (with Akeem) right now."

At one point, when the boy pointed to something he wanted the princess to notice, she "turned around completely to see what he was talking about," Rosas said.

"Catherine is sending a sign that what he is saying is important to her by turning around completely and showing interest in what he is trying to convey."

Describing the moment when she handed the poppy to Akeem, Rosas said that Princess Catherine "held it out to him as if it were important."

The princess also spoke to Akeem's sister and paid the same attention to the little girl.

"She makes the girl feel as if she is the hero now.

"Today, it is a gift, a privilege to be noticed by someone."

The expert also noted that few people give their undivided attention to others, and said the princess's attention to them probably made the two small children feel very special.

Kate was at Colham Manor Children's Center as a representative of the Maternal Mental Health Alliance. Since the Royal Family is committed to early childhood development and wellbeing, this fit beautifully within her larger social work.
