Prince Harry and Meghan Markle not allowed on balcony at coronation: report

The official announcement was made.

King Charles will only allow current members of the royal family to stand on the balcony of Buckingham Palace on Coronation Day, sources told the Mirror.

If the report is correct, this would exclude Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who were reportedly seeking to appear with working royals on the balcony.

This new development is consistent with previous predictions by royal experts. For example, Angela Mollard has stated that "there is no possibility of them appearing on the balcony."

"The Queen wanted a slim monarchy. Prince Charles is pushing it further. He dealt with Andrew brilliantly and they need to turn around and say there is no chance of getting on the balcony."

According to the Mirror, the king will be flanked by "only his closest and most loyal family members" when greeting those closest to him from the balcony. Of course, Prince Andreou, who has been scandalized by accusations of sexual assault, is excluded.

In the plan for the event, as seen by the magazine, Prince Charles' aim is to introduce "the heartbeat and future of the family," that is, high-ranking relatives like the Prince and Princess. Fifteen people are likely to appear on the balcony, including Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis (three of the king's five grandchildren).

Meanwhile, it is not yet known whether the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will even attend the coronation in the first place.

With exactly one month until the coronation, it is not yet clear whether the Sussexes will travel to the UK to watch the ceremony. For the sake of the organizers, we hope they will at least personally announce their participation.
