The biggest question surrounding the Royal Family is apparently still unanswered: even though the deadline for Prince Charles to announce his participation in the coronation was last Monday, April 3, as of today, Saturday, April 8, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not yet contacted us to say whether they will attend. The Sussex camp has confirmed that Harry and Meghan have indeed been invited to the historic occasion, and according to the Mirror, the couple "have not responded to an official invitation from the king, but have said they want to be invited to the balcony. Rumors of the request are said to be "off the mark" according to palace sources"

"Marie Claire" recently reported that Harry and Meghan's request to attend the coronation would not only include an appearance on the balcony, which, as we later reported, would not happen because the balcony is reserved only for working royal family members, but their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, were to be invited, as well as some sort of nod to the fact that May 6 is also Archie's fourth birthday, with a lunch and drinks reception, we reported. It is unclear whether the couple's other requests have been met.

The Mirror reported that palace staff "know nothing" about whether Harry and Meghan will attend, but OK reported that they are leaning toward attending and are "having lengthy discussions with the palace."

"Of course, there are time constraints on this," says one source. 'It's a historic event and we hope Harry and Meghan will attend.'

As reported in the Daily Mail, another source said, "It's difficult for any family, but of course this is no ordinary family. Harry has many questions about how this event will work."
