Prince Harry, who was recently back in the U.K. for a court appearance, apparently tried to get in touch with his father, King Charles, but according to Us Weekly magazine, King Charles is "too busy," according to royal expert Alexander Rahman. (While Harry was in the U.K., Prince Charles was on his first royal tour since becoming king, visiting Germany with his wife Camilla from March 29 to 31; a visit to France scheduled a few days before March 29 was postponed due to protests in the country.)

Harry has been in the U.K. since the Daily Mail, Mail Online, and Mail on Sunday to file a lawsuit against Associated Newspapers Limited, the publisher of the Daily Mail, Mail Online, and Mail on Sunday, for allegedly collecting illegal information. And while Rahman does not know if Harry plans to attend Prince Charles' coronation scheduled for May 6, as we reported this morning, neither do we.

"If he doesn't go to the coronation, he's essentially saying, 'I'm never having anything to do with my family again,'" Rahman said.

Regarding Harry's recent crossing of the pond, OK quotes royal commentator Shannon Felton Spence as saying, "We're told that Charles didn't expect to see Harry. Although he was in the country, Charles was busy canceling trips to Germany and France. The King was scheduled to be in France before Germany. Unfortunately the political situation in France forced the King to cancel his visit, so he unexpectedly ended up staying in England for a few extra days"

OK reported that Prince Charles "fears" a confrontation between his younger son and Harry's wife Meghan Markle. Says one source, "He should stick to the code, but is choosing to stay away from the bitter fight, as Harry and Meghan have repeatedly slandered and provoked him since he quit royal life in 2020."

"Charles is caught between a rock and a hard place," the source continues. 'If he capitulates to Mr. and Mrs. Sussex, he will lose the respect of the British public and members of his own family, who no longer trust Mr. and Mrs. Sussex. If they expel Mr. and Mrs. Sussex, they will continue their public betrayal and deception, making themselves out to be victims and further attacking Mr. and Mrs. Sussex and the royal family."

Sources say that following the success of Prince Charles' best-selling memoir Spare, which was released in January suggested that he may be afraid of Harry. But that is precisely why he [Charles] should take the initiative and put an end to the Sussex sideshow once and for all," the source said.

The prince and his wife did not attempt to see Harry while he was staying not far from their Adelaide Cottage home in Windsor, "OK" reported. (Harry apparently chose to stay at Frogmore Cottage, the home of Meghan and her husband. Frogmore is near Adelaide Cottage in Windsor.)

"Prince Charles and Camilla are too busy, and Prince William and Kate Middleton snub him," says one source. To be fair, Kate and William may not have known Harry was coming, but they didn't hang around long after they heard he had arrived at Heathrow. They took a drive out to the countryside with their three children for the Easter vacation."

According to sources, like William, Kate still "doesn't trust" Harry. Says the source, "Their relationship is like a thread between them, and after what happened, it will take a miracle to repair it."
