Put these two facts together and the next step is inevitable: everyone wants Lindsay Lohan to be in Season 3 of "White Lotus."

After Season 2 aired, fans took to Twitter to report sightings of Lindsay Lohan at the fictional resort White Lotus. It is clear that Lindsay Lohan will be in 'White Lotus' Season 3," wrote Evan Ross Katz, and there are literally hundreds of tweets like his.

And now, Twitter sleuths have found potential evidence that their dream might actually come true. Let me explain.

It has been decided that Season 3 will take place in Thailand. Since the concept of the series is that it takes place at a fictional luxury resort called The White Lotus, it is almost certain that the third season will be filmed at a real-life luxury hotel. (Or if it doesn't, it's really crooked.)

Anyway, Twitter user Robert Kessler tweeted a quote from Variety, which first reported that Thailand was the setting, with three images: first, "Amampura in Phuket suddenly closed for two months. 99% there."

The second image showed the exterior of the resort, while the third image, taken from Lohan's Instagram account, was a photo of what appeared to be meditating at the very resort.

The actress' photo was taken in 2017, so she is not there now, but still, White Lotus director Mike White is a clever man. Indeed, it is not impossible that he thought of this very clever casting.
