How should Prince Harry and Meghan Markle behave at the coronation?

If Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were to attend Prince Charles' coronation, experts believe they should be extremely cautious given their current relationship with the royal family.

For royal writer Robert Hardman, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's attitude must sound a bit like this: "This is not our show, it's his show, and we're here because it's a tribute to something beautiful," he told Page Six. 'Private family matters aside, ...... That's for another day."

Even though the Sussexes are not the guests of honor at the historic event, Hardman said it is "a family event and a national event, and I think it's a great way to honor our family.

However, experts do not seem particularly worried about Harry and Meghan stealing the show, citing precedent to back up his claims.

When the Sussex family was "pretty low-key," Hardman said, "remember we kind of went through this last year with the Queen's (Platinum) Jubilee."

"They didn't try to make the main event exciting, they didn't do interviews, they didn't have a Netflix crew following them down the aisle (of St. Paul's Cathedral). If they are wise, I think they will play it that way again this time."

The Sussexes have been invited to the coronation but have refused to confirm whether they will travel to attend.

In a statement, the Sussexes said, "I can confirm that the Duke recently received an email communication from His Majesty's office regarding the coronation."

"No immediate decision as to whether the Duke and Duchess will attend will be released by us at this time."
