Lindsay Lohan is expecting her first child with husband Vader Shammas, but the baby already has a doting grandmother.

Lindsay's mother Dina is very excited to welcome her second grandchild (Lindsay's brother Michael has a daughter).

"I'm literally over the moon. I'm so happy, I can't stop smiling," Dina told People. I can't believe it. I can't believe it. It's such a beautiful thing for my child! I love babies. Who doesn't?"

The TV star added, "My oldest is having a baby. It's so crazy. Because, "Well, ...... I'm obviously getting older!"

Lindsay announced her pregnancy a few days ago, with a "Coming soon... " and posted a photo of a baby onesie on Instagram. The caption read, "We are blessed and excited!" She added.

The actress' famous friends also rallied to congratulate the couple on the happy news, with her Mean Girls co-stars Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert sending her well wishes.

Now, Dina has revealed that Lindsay is more than ready to be a mother.

"Lindsay has always loved kids. My mom and I both love kids, and I'm one of four. We have a big family, so she's always wanted kids. And she's very maternal. My niece Isabelle would run up to my mother when she saw her."

She continued, "She has tried. Bader is an angel. Her husband is so sweet and they are so happy. They are really happy and ready to go."

Dina did not reveal her due date, but Lindsay said she was "already out" and would be there when she gave birth.
