Pink's rules for giving an 11 year old a cell phone are genius.

Pink sets clear and loving boundaries for her children.

When asked by 103.5 KTU for her thoughts on how old it is appropriate for children to have their first cell phone, the superstar mother of two was clear on the issue.

"My kids don't have phones and my daughter is the only 11-year-old in her class who doesn't have one," she explained.

"It's tough. A lot of my friends have their kids on TikTok, but I don't. I told Willow. They're not my kids. You are my child."

For the singer, this is a way to protect Willow from the potential harm that social media can bring to children and teenagers, especially since she is a famous kid.

"There's a lot of eyes on her, too," Pink said, explaining that Willow has a smartwatch that she can use to contact her mother in an emergency, but a phone is out of the question for now.

"I made it very clear to her. 'If you can get me literature from a reputable source that says social media is good for you, you can use it. Otherwise, good luck!' I said.

"Because she could be a lawyer and literally pass the bar exam. She is always right. She might actually find that literature.

By saying this, Pink once again proved herself to be an incredibly caring mother, even though she once thought she was incapable of that job.

"I didn't know I was going to have a family. I didn't imagine it for myself because I was scared that I would be a terrible mother," Singer said in a previous interview.

"But oh my gosh, being a mom is the most incredible thing ever. It's shocking how responsible I've become."
