No one has a clue whether Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will attend King Charles' coronation on May 6, but Buckingham Palace is apparently planning the event as one they will attend.

"Harry and Meghan are factored into all the plans, including cars, seating plans, and dining arrangements," a source told the Daily Mail.

"No one knows for sure if this means they have definitely accepted - of course it could be a maybe, but obviously not a 'no'. Of course, it could be a maybe, but obviously not a 'no.' Such arrangements have to be made well in advance."

A second source told the Mail, "There are a lot of things that have to be resolved first, but there are indications that they [are] coming."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly want to attend the historic event, but are said to have some demands. According to sources, their son Archie's birthday falls on the same day as the coronation, and they want to be allowed to do so; they want to stay with Princess Eugenie at the Frogmore, rather than in their Buckingham Palace apartment; and they want to appear on the traditional palace balcony.

A royal source admitted to the Mail that royal staff are indeed planning for the Sussexes to attend.

Over the weekend, a representative for the Sussexes confirmed that they had been invited to the coronation. A spokesperson said, "We can confirm that the Duke recently received email correspondence from Her Majesty's office regarding the coronation."

"No immediate decision on whether the Duke and Duchess will attend will be released by us at this time."
