Animal shelter finds Paul Rudd's doppelganger of a dog.

Last year, people talked about how much Paul Rudd and his son Jack looked alike at the Super Bowl.

But this year, the Ant-Man actor is being compared to no human being.

An animal shelter in the town of Collierville, Tennessee, recently became convinced that one of their dogs looks exactly like a canine version of Rudd. To prove it, they made a collage of photos of dogs and humans side by side and posted it on Twitter.

They wrote "Today, while making the pet-human love connection, we discovered that one of our dogs is destined to be with Paul Rudd.

"We have given him the nickname Paul Ruff. [Paul doesn't have a Twitter handle, but @AntMan does.

"And honestly, what could be more heroic than having a shelter pet?"

The tweet was posted on Valentine's Day and the dog is now up for adoption, but it is unclear if this is by Rudd (I sadly think "no.")

The dog's actual name is Waffle House (Oh.My.Goodness) and is an Australian Shepherd mix.

His description reads: "I am Waffle House, male, 65 pounds, Aussie mix! You may have seen me become internet famous after one follower created a mashup photo comparing all my facial expressions to Paul Rudd. They started calling me Paul Rudd!

"Like Mr. Rudd, I'm the kind of guy who is calm and easy-going and would make a great neighbor, best friend, and lifelong companion. Perhaps I am the dog version of Paul!

"I walk well on a leash; I am loving, kind, and love to play with other dogs; I am potty trained; I have long, thick, soft fur; I was very good when I was bathed at the shelter; I am a gem and any family would be They say I am lucky to have me."

I am crying tears of joy that Waffle House/Pawl Ruff has found her forever home.
