Paul Rudd Feels He Shouldn't Have Appeared in Final "Friends" Episode

Paul Rudd is breaking my heart

In an interview with Heart Radio in the UK, the Ant-Man actor revealed that he suffers from extreme humility and feels he should not have appeared in the final episode of "Friends".

Asked about his time on the show, the actor said, "I really enjoyed it and they were great! Because I was really the last one on the show, because I was really the last one on the show.

He continued, "I never thought I would be in so many [episodes]. But it was strange. In the last episode, I thought, 'I shouldn't be here. I'm in the front row watching something I shouldn't be watching. They were all crying, they were all emotional, and I was just like, 'Wow! '"

"I felt so privileged, but I also thought, 'Ugh, I want to sit here and not get in the way'"

.

When asked if there was a Friends WhatsApp group, Rudd quipped, "If there is, I'm not in it."

The show, which ran from 1994 to 2004, is still loved by generations of viewers, and of course the cast has grown very close to each other over the decade.

Still, Rudd played a rather important character: he played Mike Hannigan, who eventually married Phoebe Buffay, one of the original six "friends."

Rudd recently made headlines of a very different kind when an animal shelter compared him to a shelter dog, creating a collage of the two faces side by side and nicknaming the puppy Pawl Ruff. They also encouraged actors to adopt the dog. The dog, whose real name is Waffle House (!!!!) and is now adopted.
