Who would have guessed that if you put Shayne Jansen of "Love Is Blind" and Chloe Veitch of "Too Hot to Handle" and "The Circle" in the same room, sparks would instantly fly" Episode 6 of Netflix's latest dating show, Perfect Match featured an influencer and a realtor who had an instant heart-to-heart in the midst of all the drama in the villa, and as soon as they were matched, they became one of the strongest couples in the world. Unfortunately, every romance has to go through trials and tribulations (at least in the Netflix reality universe).

Read on for a breakdown of what happened between Chloe and Shayne in "The Perfect Match" and the possibility of this couple reuniting after filming.

Shayne was one of the first residents of the villa and had a tumultuous start. He was initially matched with Inez, but their mutual interest did not immediately lead to a deeper connection. He was also matched with Izzy, another Perfect Match cast member, in a strange partner exchange with Nick, but when she matched with Bertice, he returned to an unwilling match with Inez.

When Shayne matched Chloe, their energy was perfectly matched and sparks flew, and they ended up showering together (thankfully in bathing suits). They instantly become the strongest match on the show, but Perfect Match moves very quickly. Once Francesca and Damian take control of the board, they get Chloe to date her ex and "The Circle" Season 2 cast member, Mitchell.

It turns out that Chloe and Mitchell dated for eight months after meeting in The Circle and had unfinished business. Chloe makes the difficult decision to see where her relationship with Mitchell goes, leaving Shayne at home and dating Mitchell. Shayne also takes a cold shower thanks to the balcony pool. (Chloe and Shayne seem to be over for now, but things have already gotten worse in her new match. Two days after Chloe and Mitchell are matched, they win the compatibility challenge and have a romantic date. Chloe immediately regrets sending Shayne home and says she will bring him back when Shayne shows up on the board. Hopefully Chloe and Shayne are not done yet.

Netflix must have gotten pretty strict when it comes to regulating contestants' social media, and so far we can't find any clues as to the dating status of the Perfect Match contestants. As the show gets closer to its February 28 finale, clues may be found.

However, Shayne's dating life has its own drama happening off camera. After Shayne's appearance in "Perfect Match" was announced, his ex-fiancee Natalie revealed in an Instagram story (opens in new tab) that she and Shayne, who were dating after "Love Is Blind" ended in September 2021, were approached to apply together. She claims that Shayne went through the casting process for the show while they were still dating, then they broke up and stopped talking, but the two got back in touch after filming "Love Is Blind": after filming the "After the Alter" special in early 2022. the two men reestablished contact.

"He texted me several times after we first saw each other after we broke up on the taping of the ("Love Is Blind") reunion show, saying he still had unfinished business with me and wanted to leave in the middle of filming," Natalie wrote. She also claimed that Shayne also tried to meet with her after filming of "The Perfect Match" ended.

Shayne responded to her post with one of his own, writing, "Obviously with the release of the new show, I thought 'someone' would try to destroy my character once again for personal gain. I have tried many times to move on, but this keeps resurfacing and I have boundaries," he wrote. He also called the unnamed person a "chaser of influence." "

We'll likely hear more about Shayne's relationship status after last week's Perfect Match finale, but it's possible he's spending some much needed time for himself.
