Selena Gomez replaced Kylie Jenner as the most followed woman on Instagram.

Imagine being the most followed woman on Instagram without being on Instagram. For Selena Gomez, it's called Tuesday.

Gomez has been the most followed woman on Instagram in the past, but Kylie Jenner has taken her place in recent years.

However, as of this writing, the Rare Beauty founder boasts a staggering 382 million followers to Jenner's 380 million.

(Incidentally, Instagram itself is the most followed account on Instagram, with soccer players Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel "Leo" Messi surpassing Gomez in total followers.)

This comes just as Gomez confirmed that he had deleted his TikTok account and was taking a break from Instagram.

The star admitted that this social media vacation was necessary after the massive amount of drama that broke out between TikTok and Instagram involving her, Kylie Jenner, Hailey Bieber, and Taylor Swift.

There were two separate incidents: first, Gomez told a TikTok follower that she had "inadvertently" applied too much laminate to her eyebrows. Later, on Instagram Stories, Jenner wrote over her eyebrows, "Is this an accident?" and later shared a selfie of her and Haley Bieber's eyebrows, people began to suspect that Jenner was making fun of Gomez.

Jenner denied this, and Gomez supported it.

However, Gomez later commented on the resurfacing of a video in which Bieber supposedly dissed Taylor Swift's music, writing, "I'm so sorry, but my best friend is one of the best in the game and will continue to be so"
