Prince William and Princess Kate take George and Charlotte to the TV set of "Rings of Power" during school vacation.
When I was a kid, during school vacations, we would go to the movies, read books.... But Prince George and Princess Charlotte are really getting their fill during the school holidays.
The royal kids, aged 9 and 7 respectively, visited the set of "Ring of Power" last Friday evening with their parents, Prince William and Princess Kate, the Sun reports.
The Rings of Power is a spin-off of The Lord of the Rings and airs on Amazon Prime. On that day they were filming in a forest near Ascot, which is also near the Welsh couple's home in Windsor.
However, the royal family had been invited for a private visit in the evening, and four-year-old Prince Louis was deemed too young to be out at that time, so he stayed home instead.
George and Charlotte were excited to meet the cast and see how the TV show was made, but apparently their father enjoyed it the most. [William] is a big fan of the movie, so he jumped at the chance," a source told The Sun. [They were] introduced to the main cast and shown around the set. It was all very exciting for George and Charlotte, who loved seeing the props and how everything was laid out."

"Louis was home because it was late at night.
"They were escorted by security guards and were very discreet.
"It was a great honor for the performers." [Especially since Prince William apparently loves "The Lord of the Rings."
Martin Freeman, who played Bilbo Baggins in the "Hobbit" series, revealed in 2014 how much the attendant king knew about the entire "Lord of the Rings" series; the two met at the London premiere of the first film, and Freeman later recalled the occasion Freeman later recalled how he had met the two at the London premiere of the first film.
"He was a good man. He is the biggest royal fan. It's a much-loved book, with fans everywhere," Freeman said (from the Mirror).
"William wanted to attend the premiere because Kate was in the hospital.
"He knew all the facts about Middle-earth and I think I kept him talking at length. [but I think I bored him a little bit as he kept talking about Middle Earth.
That's so cute.
