A new royal baby is on the way! Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank announced their pregnancy on January 24, the second child for the royal couple following the birth of their son August Philip Hawke in 2021.

Buckingham Palace confirmed the happy news in a statement." Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are delighted to announce that they are expecting their second child this summer. The family is delighted and August is very excited to be a big brother."

Princess Eugenie also shared the news in a super sweet way on her Instagram. She shared a photo of the toddler and August with his face buried in his mother's belly, taken by Jack.

"So excited to share the new addition to our family this summer," Eugenie wrote alongside the photo.

Eugenie and Jack's second child will be the 13th in line to the throne, following Prince Edward and his children and Princess Anne and her children and grandchildren. Their new child will also be Queen Elizabeth's 13th great-grandchild, the first born since her death.

Eugenie and Jack, whose parents are Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, were married on October 12, 2018, in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. Then in February 2021, the couple announced the birth of their first child, August, with another sweet photo on Instagram. Since last year, the family has been traveling back and forth between Portugal and England due to Jack's work with American entrepreneur Mike Meldman.
