Are Soe and Sejun still together after the end of Season 2 of "Hell of a Single"?

Singles Inferno Season 2 spoilers ahead. The romance between Lee So Ae and Kim Se Joon was one of the more unexpected developments of the second season of "Hell of a Single." Soe initially had a crush on Yoon Je, a stockbroker. Yoon-jae admired So-ae's bravery, but was not interested in romance. When Se-joon joined the show, she was having a tough time with "Inferno," but the late Se-joon was immediately attracted to her and was able to cheer her up; now that the show has reached its finale on Netflix, here's everything we know about their fate after the show ended.

Their ages and occupations were revealed later in the show, as Sejun was one of the last cast members to appear, and Soe could not make it to Paradise until he arrived. Both men turned out to be in very interesting professions related to the show. Soe is a college student majoring in acting and had already played supporting roles (opens in new tab) in the popular K-dramas "Hellbound" and "Snowdrop" before joining "Singles Inferno 2". She also played the bullying victim Sohee in the revenge thriller "The Glory" (opens in new tab) and had a small role in the Netflix drama.

Meanwhile, Se-jung works as a cutter at Ascot, a men's clothing store owned by former Single Hell cast member Oh Jin-taek (opens in new tab). Se-joon was also featured in Jin-taek's career montage in Season 1, but was barely recognizable due to his super-long hair. When he appeared (in a suit) in Inferno, his hair was cut.

From the moment tailor Se-joon arrived, it was clear that he was the perfect person to cheer up actor So-ae, who was discouraged by her feelings for Yoon-jae. Se-joon was immediately attracted to her after she told him in an interview that she was looking for someone with a "good-natured personality." Later, Se-joon chose her to go with him to Paradise, and during the helicopter ride, Se-joon handed Soe his jacket and held her hand, and they seemed comfortable together. After having a good time together in Paradise, Se-jung made it clear that she was the only woman interested in So-ae for the rest of the show.

Soe said she was "grateful" that Se-joon had become her knight in shining armor. When they had a heart-to-heart in the final episode, Se-joon said he understood that she had been through a lot to get there and that he would be happy as long as she was happy.

It was only natural that at the final ceremony, Se-joon went directly to Seo-ae. Before she could make a decision, he told her, "I chose you. I chose you because I couldn't deny my feelings for you." Soe replied that she had been "very discouraged and exhausted" before he came, adding, "I am very grateful that you rescued me from that." She then took his hand and they became the first couple to leave Inferno this season.

Soe and Sejun seemed very comfortable as they left Inferno, joking around and discussing their plans to return to their real lives, but did they remain more than friends after the shoot? Luckily for Instagram Snoopy, the two interacted quite a bit on Instagram, leaving cute comments (opens in new tab) on each other's posts (opens in new tab). Soe has also appeared twice on Sejun's Instagram, once in a selfie and once in a snapshot showing that the actress came to Ascot for a visit (opens in new tab).

However, it is possible that the two had to end their romantic relationship and remain friends because of Soe's work. The new actress recently signed with the agency Salam Entertainment (where she has become colleagues with Squid Game's Jung Hoyoung and Girls' Generation's Sooyoung), so it may be difficult to maintain both their relationship and their burgeoning careers. In any case, we hope the future is bright for Soe and Sejun.
