The Palace is "not happy" that Prince Harry leaked emails with Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton.

Apparently, Prince Harry felt "strongly" about publishing his wife Meghan Markle and sister-in-law Kate Middleton's 2018 text message exchange in his new book, Spare, and according to Us Weekly, Buckingham Palace (quite surprisingly) said he apparently "not happy" with such a fact.

"They claim it's only part of the story, and in any case, it's terrible of Harry to publish such an abbreviated excerpt," a source told the magazine, adding that the text "clearly shows that there are two sides to every story."

He added.

"Harry feels strongly that it is important to get the true testimony of what happened out into the world," the source said.

The text concerns the infamous "bridesmaid dress incident," which the press initially claimed made Kate cry, but which Meghan refuted to Oprah Winfrey. The exchange between the two (then) Duchesses (Kate is now Princess of Wales) regarding Princess Charlotte's bridesmaid dresses for Meghan and Harry's wedding is included in the book:

Kate: Charlotte's dress is too big, too long, too blah. She cried when she tried it on at home.

Megan: Well, I told you the tailors are on call at 8 a.m. at KP (Kensington Palace). Can you take Charlotte to get fixed up like the other moms do?

Kate then asked to have all her dresses redone, but Meghan reminded her that she was stressed enough with the wedding itself and the added drama surrounding her father, Thomas Markle. After this exchange, Harry wrote in Spare that he found Meghan on the floor crying.

Sources tell Us Weekly that Harry's texting indicates that "Meghan was under intense stress at the time" and that the situation with Kate "did not help."

"There may be other emails and texts, but no one on Kate's side would release any of that stuff," the source said.

A source previously told the outlet that "it's clearly business as usual as far as royal duties are concerned," and that the royal family is not trying to "dignify" Harry's behavior.

"There is a keen perception that Harry and Meghan appear to be looking for a reaction," the source said.
