Prince Harry's "spare" is "especially tough on William," report says
Finally, someone who (allegedly) knows the contents of Prince Harry's forthcoming memoir, Spare, has opened up. One source with knowledge of the book told The Sunday Times (opens in new tab) that the "personal and emotional" book is "particularly hard on William," mirroring the very Netflix documentary about Harry and his wife Meghan Markle.
"In general, I think the book will be worse for them than the royal family expects," a source tells The Sunday Times. 'Everything will be laid bare. Charles pulls through better than I expected, but it is particularly hard on William, and even Kate gets a bit of flak."

In "Harry & Meghan," Harry claims that William "shouted and yelled at me" at a family meeting in Sandringham to discuss Harry and Meghan's retirement from the royal society.
"There are such fine details and descriptions of fights between the brothers," the source says of the book. 'Personally, I don't see how Harry and William can reconcile after this.'
The Sun reports that "the memoir will answer questions not touched on in Harry and Meghan's Netflix show," and experts believe that dramatic moments were withheld from the documentary in order to preserve them as content for Harry's book The report states that.
"It's clear that Harry is hiding things for his book," royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told the outlet. 'All of this is part of a huge operation with a lot of money at stake. If you want to sell, you want a sensation, so you always have to keep things in check. Netflix feels like it's getting its money's worth with six hours of content, but it's clear there's more drama in the book. The book is titled 'Spare,' and it is obvious that there is not much brotherly love in it."
According to The Independent, "Spare" is just the first of a $20 million, four-book deal between Harry and Meghan and publisher Penguin Random House, and as Marie Claire previously reported, Meghan may publish her own future confessional book; Spare will be released on January 10.
