Seven bombshells allegedly contained in Prince Harry's memoir "Spare

A few days before its scheduled release date of January 10, Prince Harry's explosive memoir, Spare (opens in new tab), was leaked. In addition, a Spanish-language version of the memoir was mistakenly placed on store shelves in Spain, allowing members of the public and several media outlets to obtain copies. Since then, a number of Harry's shocking anecdotes from the memoir have been made public, and although the full extent of what is detailed in the book (or how much of what was leaked was lost in translation) will not be known until January 10, the biggest bombshells allegedly contained in "Harry's Spare are as follows.

In addition to the alleged physical fight between Prince Harry and Prince William, Harry's memoirs reportedly mention that William and Kate encouraged Harry to wear a Nazi uniform at a costume party in 2005.

According to Page Six, which saw parts of the book prior to its release, Harry wrote in Spare that he was torn between the pilot uniform and the Nazi uniform, but after consulting with William and Kate he finally decided on the latter.

He is reported to have written. 'I called Willie and Kate and asked them what they thought. 'Nazi uniforms,' they said. They both howled. 'It's worse than Willie's leotard. It's even more ridiculous. That was the point again.

According to Sky News (opens in new tab), which obtained the Spanish edition of Spare, Harry wrote about his experience trying cocaine on a hunting trip when he was 17.

He is said to have written At someone's house, on a weekend hunting trip, I was offered cocaine.

"It wasn't much fun, nor did I feel any particular happiness as happened to others. Feeling. That was my main goal.

"I was 17 and willing to try almost anything that would change the established order. At least, that's what I tried to make myself believe.

In another section of Spare, Harry reportedly wrote about his father Charles III's relationship with Camilla Parker Bowles; according to Page Six, Harry and William asked Charles not to marry Camilla, but they were married in 2005 They married in April.

Harry is reported to have written We held his hand and wished him well. No hard feelings."

He continued, "We recognized that he would eventually be with the woman he loved, the woman he had always loved.

"Perhaps fate had intended him in the first place. Whatever resentment or sadness we felt at the closing of yet another circle in Mammy's story, we understood that it didn't matter."

Harry does not shy away from personal details in Spare, such as how he lost his virginity; according to Page Six, Harry wrote in his memoir that he "played quickly" with an "older woman" about the event. The woman, he adds, "loved horses" and treated him like a "young stallion."

He goes on to report that he "rode the horse quickly, after which she slapped my ass and made me graceful."

"There are so many things that could have gone wrong. It was in the meadow behind a busy pub," he wrote.

Harry also reportedly detailed his 10 years in the Royal Army and his two deployments to the front lines in Afghanistan. According to Sky News (opens in new tab), everything Harry did during his tours in Afghanistan was "recorded" and "time stamped."

He "always knew exactly how many enemy combatants he had killed. And I found it essential not to be afraid of that number. One of the most important of the many things I learned in the army was to take responsibility for my actions."

He continues. It didn't satisfy me, but it didn't shame me either.

"Naturally, I would have preferred not to have that number in my military career or in my head, but I also wanted to live in a world without the Taliban and without war."

After Princess Diana's death in a car accident in 1997, Sky News reported (opens in new tab) that Harry and William had big questions about the accident but decided against re-investigating.

Harry wrote in Spare that the investigation into Diana's death concluded that the driver's drinking caused the accident, but Harry called the claim "simplistic and ridiculous."

He writes that even if the mother's driver had been drunk, he should have been able to drive through the short tunnel where the accident occurred, unless paparazzi were involved.

He continues, "Why did the paparazzi get off lightly? Why didn't they go to jail? Who sent them there? What other reason is there, except that corruption and cover-ups are the order of the day?"

"We agreed on all these questions, and we also agreed on what to do next. We will issue a statement and jointly call for a reopening of the investigation. We might hold a press conference. The people who made the decision have dissuaded us."

"We have to be very clear about what we are going to do.

In advance of the memoir's release, Harry sat down with Good Morning America host Michael Strahan to discuss the book. In the video interview, Strahan says that Harry refers to William in the book as his "beloved brother" and "nemesis."

Strahan said to Harry, "That's a strong word. What do you mean?

"Oddly enough, there has always been this competition between us," Harry replied. I think it has worked or was working well for the "heirs/spares."
