Princess Kate is "as beautiful in real life as she is in pictures," says Carol Concert guest

Just hours after Harry & Meghan Volume 2 was released on Netflix, Princess Kate arrived at Westminster Abbey for the second annual Royal Christmas Carol Concert.

Although we won't experience this reportedly magical evening until it airs on British television on Christmas Eve, Marie Claire was one of the lucky attendees invited to the royal celebration on behalf of the Anna Freud National Child and Family Center, Bettina Moltrecht spoke to the audience. [The] whole place was silent and I didn't know why, but when I saw Kate, she was just as beautiful in real life as she was in pictures," Moltrecht said.

"It felt unreal to see everyone that close up. It was also nice that Princess Kate came early and took the time to talk to people."

"It was a great experience.

The Crown Princess arrived at the abbey at some point in the afternoon, escorted by her husband, Prince William, and their two oldest sons, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. [Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, Zara Tindall, and Prince and Princess Michael Kent were also present.

Kate wore an elegant burgundy coat dress by Eponine with matching pointy suede pumps and a matching snakeskin-style clutch bag. Princess Charlotte showed off her royal mama and adorable twin co-ordinates.

Prince George, meanwhile, looked like Prince William's mini-man in an adorable navy suit. Prince William himself added a touch of glamour to his wife and daughter's attire with a burgundy tie.

As for the actual service, Moltrecht loved it. 'It was a wonderful collection of songs and artists. 'It was my first Christmas carol service in the UK, so to have it at Westminster Abbey was very impressive and special.'

She was also thrilled to find Spice Girl Melanie C. and singer Craig David at the abbey.

Happy Christmas Eve!
