Prince Harry, in Spider-Man costume, sends Christmas message of encouragement to children who have lost a parent.

In a touching message to children who have lost parents in the British Armed Forces, Prince Harry dressed up as Spiderman to tell viewers that it is okay to miss loved ones during the holiday season.

In the video, which was shared with Scotty's Little Soldiers charity at their annual Christmas party, Harry said, "Christmas is a time when we really, really miss our loved ones. And that's okay. But at the same time, we can feel guilty about having fun without our parents. But we don't need to feel guilty because our parents always want us to have fun. Especially in the Scotties Little Soldiers community, we are allowed to have the best time. So get out there and have the best time you can, and Merry Christmas."

Scotty's Little Soldiers helps children who have lost parents in the British Armed Forces. The theme for the charity's Christmas party this year was "Heroes and Villains," a reference to the Duke of Sussex's Spiderman costume.

At the party, "children were told that villains were trying to ruin Christmas and were tasked with 'defeating the villains' as part of the theme," People reported.

"Using teamwork, brains, and brawn, we do exactly that," Harry told the kids. 'Find them and don't let them ruin Christmas.'

This is not the first time Harry has sent a video message for the event; in 2019, he sent a message dressed as Father Christmas.

"It's not the first time Prince Harry has shown he's thinking of us, and it's good to hear from him again this Christmas," said Ben O'Donnell, a 14-year-old boy who was nine weeks old when his father, 2nd Lt. Gary O'Donnell, died . 'He puts in a lot of effort, and it shows that he really cares. It's great that he put on the Spider-Man costume. He may be the next Spider-Man!"
