Kate Middleton, a holiday princess in red sequins and a delicate tiara.
When the chilly weather and falling leaves take your fancy and you want a little glamorous dreaminess, Princess Kate can make it happen.
Senior royals were busy Tuesday night when King Charles and Queen Camilla hosted a diplomatic corps reception at Buckingham Palace.
The Princess of Wales went all out for the occasion, wowing onlookers with a boat neck, long sleeves, nipped-in waist, straight skirt with a small train that reached the floor, and a lace red sequined gown. It was a preview of the Christmas season ahead of next week's royal carol concert.
The princess paired her delicate tiara with pear-shaped drop earrings.
"The Princess of Wales is wearing a Jenny Packham gown with Queen Elizabeth's diamond earrings, her GCVO and Lotus Flower Tiara with Royal Family Order," tweeted royal reporter Rebecca English.
She added: "Tonight is the first time since 2019 that a Diplomatic Corps reception will be held. It will take place in the State Room at Buckingham Palace," she added.
"The reception celebrates the presence in London of one of the largest diplomatic missions in the world."
According to the Daily Mail, the Lotus Flower Tiara is sometimes known as the Queen Mother's Papyrus Tiara.
In honor of her late grandmother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth, Kate wore the Queen's diamond frame earrings, the Royal Family Order (a yellow ribbon bow with a picture of young Elizabeth), and a blue Royal Victorian Order sash. She wore a blue Royal Victorian Order sash. She is truly regal.
