There has been a lot of talk lately about celebrity private jets.

With the climate crisis becoming more acute, commenters are not happy about celebrities taking ultra-short, ultra-frequent, ultra-polluting rides on privately owned airplanes.

But apparently Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are keen to be excluded from that narrative since 2009.

In photos released by TMZ, newlyweds Kravis can be seen relaxing on an Alaskan Air flight from LAX to Spokane, Washington. Courtney's daughter Penelope and Kim's daughter North were reportedly with them.

With all the private jet drama that Courtney's sisters Kim and Kylie have started in a big way, taking a commercial flight is a pretty smart move.

First, Kim proudly showed off her cashmere-clad private jet on Season 1 of "The Kardashians," and then Kylie showed a photo of herself and partner Travis Scott walking between two jets at the airport with the caption "you wanna take mine or yours ? " with the caption "you wanna take mine or yours ?

Comments included "girl what am i recycling for?"

Since then, it has been revealed that the founder of Kylie Cosmetics routinely flies minuscule distances just to avoid traffic, understandably infuriating many.

Taylor Swift's use of private jets has also been discussed at length in recent days. This is because, according to The Guardian, it was revealed that her plane would have resulted in 8,293.54 tons of flight emissions in 2022. Yes, that's... Not so good.
