Duchess Kate (opens in new tab) and her three children - Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis (opens in new tab) - were spotted at a branch of British supermarket Sainsbury's near Sandringham Manor and Anmer Hall.

Fans will remember that Karen and Rachel Anville gave Princess Charlotte a special doll (opens in new tab) as a festive gift for Christmas 2019. And this weekend, Karen revealed on Twitter that the person who handcrafted the doll for Charlotte was fortunate enough to witness the Cambridges shopping.

Karen Anvil tweeted. "The lady who made the doll for #PrincessCharlotte at Xmas was in #Sainsbury's today, standing next to the #Duchess of Cambridge and her 3 children! She called me and I swear I thought she was going to have a heart attack.

Meanwhile, the doll maker herself, claiming to be Kate or Katie, said, "I can assure you it was #TheDuchessofCambridge. I was told not to take pictures. I almost died. I even told the security guard that it was me who made the doll. I know you are skeptical, but I promise you it happened. xx"
